Outpatient Programs (PHP & IOP)
Outpatient treatment at DRC Helpline gives you the flexibility to receive high-quality addiction care while maintaining your daily responsibilities. Our treatment center in Tallulah, Louisiana offers two levels of outpatient programming designed to meet patients at different stages of their recovery journey.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHP provides intensive, structured treatment 5–6 days per week for 5–6 hours daily. This program is ideal for patients stepping down from residential care or those who need a high level of support while living at home or in sober living.
- Duration: 2–4 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (or Saturday), 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Individual and group therapy sessions daily
- Psychiatric medication management
- Relapse prevention education
- Family involvement and weekly family sessions
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
IOP offers a flexible schedule of 3–4 sessions per week, typically held in the evening, so patients can continue working, attending school, or caring for their families while receiving treatment at our facility.
- Duration: 8–12 weeks
- Schedule: 3–4 evenings per week, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Group counseling and process groups
- Individual therapy weekly
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills training
- 12-Step facilitation and community resource connections
- Aftercare planning and relapse prevention
Standard Outpatient & Aftercare
Following PHP or IOP completion, patients transition to standard outpatient care with weekly individual sessions and monthly group check-ins. Our aftercare program provides alumni support groups, recovery coaching, and ongoing community connections to sustain long-term sobriety.
